A wonderful Georgian church in the heart of Saddleworth. Holy Trinity was crying out for traditional period lighting with a small number of tiny directional spots to highlight the important areas. The existing lighting consisted of 1960 cylinder glass pendants which made the worship area look very flat and bland.
The beautiful interior was also being redecorated which would mean the new lighting scheme would not only improve the lighting levels but highlight all the the special architectural features, which would bring back the worship area to its natural character.
The existing nave boss had not seen any light fixtures for over 60 years. A special large bespoke three tier polished brass chandelier was manufactured to take up the space and wash a good light level over the nave.
The upper balcony had new five arm polished brass chandeliers introduced to bathe light over the balcony pews. Period decor ceiling fixtures introduced to provide light under balcony areas. Emergency lighting installed to exit / escape routes.
Dimming introduced to create a number of special lighting scenes.
