The old lighting consisting of large antiquated spots and fluorescents provided a very flat cold light source, light levels were well below the required Lux reading of 150Lux. The aisles and many featured areas had never been lit before.

The new lighting scheme introduced projector floods to bathe light into the nave and Narthex, with concealed tiny spots uplighting the arches in the aisles as well as the aisle areas.

Directional lighting from AR111 projectors to provide pools of light to the High Altar, Nave Altar, Choir, Lady chapel, Statues, Font and Baptism area including St Albans and Good Shepherd Chapels.
The South porch was lit by a traditional period lantern and tiny spots for the notice boards.

Control via an I-Light dimming system introducing a small touch screen providing 40-lighting scenes with supplementary control at the base of the Vestry stairs.

The Sanctuary lamps over the High Altar and Lady chapel were rewired using 10 watt 12 volt capsule lamps and controlled via the dimming system.

Rewire to new power final circuits throughout the worship area, also new supply to organ and boiler room including control wiring.

Rewiring to vestry areas introducing all low energy luminaires to the lighting final circuits and rewiring of new power final circuits.

Electric Ceramic heaters installed for heating vestry areas.
